An Upcoming Change to Our Merchant Pricing

At Montonio, we’ve long been proud to offer our Baltic merchants the most affordable payment and post-checkout services on the market. As we have continued to invest in continually improving our service quality, enhancing payment conversion rates, and adding valuable new functionalities, we have maintained our prices for our popular payment methods at, frankly, rock bottom levels. 

The significant investments in our products, ensuring we only work with reputable customers, providing great customer service and general inflation are all reasons why we now need to increase our prices. And we have made the difficult decision to implement a price update and a new monthly subscription fee, effective October 1, 2024. See link to new pricing below.

We want to level with you and explain the reasons why we are making these changes:

  • Subscription fee: We want to be able to serve merchants of all sizes. In a regulated business such as Montonio, we have a lot of costs at the beginning of a business relationship with merchants: to get you onboarded, integrated and helping you as you get started using our products. Our subscription fees will range from 11.99 to 19.99 euros per month. This subscription fee is meant to make sure that we can cover our costs of doing all those things and continue to serve all merchants in a great way.
  • Payment fees: Our payment fees for small merchants are rising slightly as a result of the changes we have made to our prices. For most merchants with more than 70 transactions per month, and choosing the Premium subscription, the cost for payments will remain the same as before.
     

  • Shipping and post-checkout fees: Our shipping partnerships provide great value for merchants as we reduce the number of businesses and systems you have to deal with, streamline label printing and very often reduce the cost of parcels for you. Using this service will save you both time and money. A merchant with 100 parcels per month saves more on parcel fees, by choosing Montonio Premium package vs the Standard package, than the cost of subscription itself. We hope more of you will take advantage of this. 

While we are not happy about increasing prices we are proud to say that we have not seen anyone in the market offer both the great prices and the great products that we offer across payments and shipping.
